Moving evidence from research to policy, practice, and community action

Knowledge translation (KT) spans the activities that bridge rigorous research and real-world impact — from synthesising evidence for decision-makers to engaging communities and media. The work described here reflects ongoing efforts to make epidemiological findings accessible and actionable.

Stakeholder & community engagement

Work with the SAIST Foundation directly connects research outputs to health interventions in Bangladesh, particularly for maternal–child health and environmental exposures in low-resource settings. Community consultations, capacity-building workshops, and co-design sessions with local health workers are central to this effort.
